Why should I read my Bible?
Reading the Bible is the best way for us to connect with God and learn more about who He is. When we spend time in God’s Word, we spend time with Him. It can feel daunting at times, but we are here to help you discover the joy and life change that comes from getting closer to God in this way!
How to read your Bible
As you open the Bible try reading with these approaches:
Use S.P.E.C.K.
Is there a SIN to be avoided?
Is there a PROMISE to be claimed?
Is there an EXAMPLE to follow?
Is there a COMMAND to obey?
Is there something to KNOW about God?
Use S.O.A.P.
Read a passage of SCRIPTURE.
What do you OBSERVE from the passage?
How can you APPLY these observations to your own life?
Say a PRAYER asking God to help you live it out.
